WWE News: What happened after Raw went off the air?

It's the Ronda Rousey Show!
It's the Ronda Rousey Show!

What’s the story?

This week’s episode of Raw wasn’t all that great as it lacked anything special that the fans haven’t seen already. The fans at the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee Wisconsin, however, were treated to a dark main event after the show concluded with Ronda Rousey predictably being a major attraction.

In case you didn’t know…

The fans who tuned into Raw this week were naturally left disappointed as it featured run-of-the-mill action that did nothing to justify the three-hour runtime. Rollins and Ziggler faced each other for the zillionth time in an Intercontinental Championship match while the Author’s of Pain successfully defended their titles against Bobby Roode and Chad Gable.

The babyface buildup of Elias progressed considerably well as he was given a sound beating at the hands of Baron Corbin, Bobby Lashley, and Drew McIntyre.

Talking about the Baddest Woman on the Planet, Ronda Rousey was involved in a cringe-worthy segment with Nia Jax. Jax cut a pathetic promo in which she highlighted her ‘accomplishments’ which included handing Becky Lynch a concussion.

Rousey came out and cut a promo herself before challenging Jax to a match. Jax avoided to engage but Rousey had other plans. Natalya then came out from the back to assist her friend Rousey but got attacked by the Riott Squad even before she reached the ring. Rousey rushed to the aid of Natalya and the segment thankfully came to an end with Nia and Tamina stood in the ring.

The heat of the matter

Rousey led a 5 -woman babyface team in the mammoth tag team match after Raw went off the air. Rousey was accompanied by Bayley, Sasha Banks, Natalya, and Ember Moon against the heel team of Liv Morgan, Sarah Logan, Ruby Riott, Tamina Snuka and Nia Jax.

Rousey won the 10-woman match for her team after she locked in the armbar on Morgan and forced her to tap out. The babyfaces celebrated their victory and sent the fans home happy.

What’s next?

Rousey will defend the Raw Women’s Championship against Jax at the upcoming TLC PPV on December 16th, 2018. Don’t hope for a title change as the former UFC Champion isn’t expected to drop the strap anytime soon.
