Elias had an interesting night on Raw
Elias had an interesting night on Raw

What's the story?

Monday Night Raw was streamed live from The O2 Arena in London this week and after the action came to an end on TV, WWE put together an interesting segment for all the fans in attendance in the country's capital.

In case you didn't know...

Raw finished recording after Sami Zayn interfered in Kevin Owens' triple threat match to help him defeat both Elias and Bobby Lashley and qualify for the Money in the Bank ladder match on June 17th.

The cameras saw Zayn attack Lashley in order to continue their rivalry before he then exited the arena alongside Owens but this wasn't the end of the show.

The heart of the matter

Lashley made his way back into the ring and was then attacked from behind by Elias before Zayn and Owens made their way back to the ring to begin a three-on-one assault. Seth Rollins then made the save but when he was beaten down as well, Roman Reigns followed his former Shield teammate and the trio then got the upper hand.

A six-man tag match then began that pitted Elias, Owens, and Zayn against Lashley, Rollins, and Reigns which saw the crowd chanting for Elias all the way through and he picked up his guitar ready to sing.

Rollins then took the mic and sang a song for the crowd before Lashley delivered a vertical suplex to Sami Zayn, Rollins hit The Stomp on Elias and Roman Reigns gave Kevin Owens a spear to pick up the win.

After the match, Rollins invited Elias into the ring and allowed him to finish his song after all.

What's next?

WWE will return to the United States next week as the build-up to Money in the Bank continues.

Author's take

The crowd was behind Elias for most of the show and it appears that Rollins wanted to send the crowd home happy, even though it meant that he had to hand Elias his guitar and let him entertain the crowd. Elias is becoming a popular star and tonight made it obvious that he could be one of the top heels in the company in the future.
