What's the story?

This week's go-home show of Raw had several interesting matches and feuds that will make this weekend's Survivor Series a mouthwatering PPV.

Raw's main event was a clash between two beasts - Kane and Braun Strowman, continuing their feud which started at TLC.

But fans were left scratching their heads with the finish to the match and the aftermath of the match.

In case you didn't know...

Kane and Braun Strowman teamed up at the TLC PPV in a 5-on-3 handicap Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match, where they faced off against The Shield minus Roman Reigns, who was nursing an illness and was replaced by Raw GM Kurt Angle.

The team of Kane, Strowman, Cesaro, Sheamus and The Miz were on the losing side as Kane and Strowman fought and the latter was ultimately dumped into a garbage truck.

The heart of the matter

This week, the match between Strowman and Kane didn't even begin as the two brawled outside and inside the ring, before Strowman powerslammed Kane through the ring.

Raw went off the air with viewers unsure of what happened to Kane and Strowman, but WWE later released a video which showed Strowman climbing out of the hole in the ring and raised his arms aloft, victoriously.

What's next?

Strowman will be part of Team Raw in the traditional 5-vs-5 Survivor Series match between the two brands, alongside Kurt Angle, Finn Bálor, Samoa Joe, and Triple H.

Survivor Series will go down on November 19th, 2017 in Houston, Texas.

Author's take

Strowman appearing out of the ring like a man possessed and unbeatable bodes well for his character going forward.

Like many WWE fans, I do hope that Strowman is pushed to the top because that's where he deserves to be.
