WWE News: What happened after SmackDown went off-air?
For weeks, The Bloodline has been feuding with The Club. Every time these two factions stepped foot in the ring it ended in chaos. And this week’s SmackDown was not an exception to the. This week’s SmackDown ended in chaos as both The Bloodline and The Club tore each other apart as they tried to gain momentum heading into Extreme Rules.
With just two days left for Extreme Rules, SmackDown exploded into an all out brawl as the main event ended in chaos. Roman Reigns face Luke Gallows in this week’s SmackDown’s main event. But as always with the feud between these two factions, it is what happened after the match that made more ripples in calm water than the actual match itself.
As SmackDown went off-air and the cameras stopped rolling, The referees held back both The Club and The Bloodline apart. But, the action didn’t end there. Roman Reigns and AJ Styles took chairs as weapons and tried to dismantle each other while The Usos battled Gallows and Anderson all over the arena. Roman Reigns stood tall to end the segment after delivering a vicious chair shot to the back of Styles and sending him outside.
This feud has reached a boiling point and it will all end in Extreme Rules. This Sunday, Roman Reigns will take on AJ Styles in an Extreme Rules match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. The Usos will face Gallows and Anderson in a Texas Tornado tag team match in which all four members can be present in the ring at the same time. If this SmackDown is in anyway indication of things to come, then we are in for one hell of a ride this Sunday.
