From the WWE Rumor Mill: Reason why Sheamus and Dean Ambrose weren't on RAW
What's the story?
Cesaro and Seth Rollins were left to do singles battle on this week's Monday Night Raw as both of their tag-team partners were conspicuously absent from the show.
Don't worry though folks, the viral illness that struck off Bray Wyatt and fellow Shield member Roman Reigns from TLC isn't back, there were two very ordinary reasons for both men's absence.
In case you didn't know...
The BAR and two members of the Shield in Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose have been feuding for most of the latter of the year, in a series of back and forth battles exchanging the tag-team titles, and the enemies are set to do battle for the RAW Tag-Team Titles again on next week's Monday Night RAW when Dean Ambrose and Sheamus return.
The heart of the matter
So why exactly weren't Sheamus or Dean Ambrose on television? Well, it's simple really, as Wrestlezone reports, and as was explained on Monday Night RAW, Sheamus is just on his annual sabbatical in Ireland and Dean Ambrose is on his honeymoon following his marriage to WWE announcer Renee Young.
What's next?
Dean Ambrose's absence may have been used by many to fuel the fires of a Shield break-up so soon after their reunion, especially with Reigns as the Intercontinental Champion now.
However, 'The Architect' Seth Rollins also addressed those rumours following his match with Cesaro merely stating that Reign's title win will only make The Shield stronger and that there was no chance they were going to break-up anytime soon.
Author's take
Sometimes in all the craziness that is pro wrestling, it can be hard to remember that these are ordinary people outside of the ring, with ordinary lives and that sometimes they have annual holidays or honeymoons just like the rest of us.
