In case you didn’t know…
‘Rowdy’ Ronda Rousey—a Women’s MMA pioneer and former UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion—recently signed a deal with the WWE, and is said to be working on a part-time schedule with the promotion.
However, in multiple interviews ahead of her WWE contract signing at the Elimination Chamber PPV a few days ago, Rousey emphasized that she intends on making WWE her life for the next several years—alluding that she could perform more frequently than what fans have generally come to expect from part-time WWE Superstars.
The heart of the matter
The WWE has put forth a Tweet, revealing a poster for this year’s Survivor Series PPV.
The poster features notable Superstars such as WWE Champion AJ Styles, Shinsuke Nakamura, Roman Reigns, Braun Strowman, Jason Jordan, Charlotte Flair, Asuka and Ronda Rousey.
Fans ought to note that although the WWE’s WrestleMania plans for Rousey may have been revealed, it’s unclear as to who the legendary MMA fighter shall face at Survivor Series which takes place in November.
What’s next?
The vast majority of professional wrestling experts believe that Ronda Rousey is set to team up with Kurt Angle so as to take on Stephanie McMahon & Triple H in a Mixed Tag Team Match at WrestleMania 34 which takes place at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome at New Orleans, Louisiana on April 8th.
Meanwhile, the WWE’s Survivor Series PPV takes place at the Staples Center in Rousey’s hometown of Los Angeles, California on November 18th.
