WWE News: WWE Hall of Famer provides advise to suspended superstars
Since 2006, after the sudden death of one of their high profile superstar, Eddie Guerrero, WWE started the Talent Wellness Program. WWE holds the right to suspend or even terminate the contract of a wrestler who fails in the improved Wellness policy. After a few years,WWE declared that they will publicly announce the wrestlers who will fail in such policy of the company.
Since then, several wrestlers were subjected to suspension for taking steroids or drugs. Recently, Adam Rose and Konnor were suspended for 60 days due to failing in WWE’s Wellness program. Later, Rose tweeted that it was a doctor-prescribed drug and not harmful. This caused a severe backlash and backstage heat for Adam Rose.
Regarding situations like this, WWE Hall of Famer came up with an idea. As reported by allwrestlingnews.com, Jim Ross, in his latest blog entry on his website JrsBarBq.com, offered advice to the WWE superstars who fail the Wellness policy of the company. He mentioned the below:
“Off topic but I suggest that all talents that have Wellness Policy violations in WWE should stay off social media. Just saying. One more thing…Doctor’s notes should be typed if at all possible.”
