Vader, who was widely regarded for his large stature and athletic move set, boasts of a 20-year career of memorable moments. Seeing him perform his trademark moon sault was a spectacle, which attracted fans, during PPV’s and live events.
Still an occasional wrestler, Vader recently wrestled Will Ospreay in August, for RevPro Uprising in London, where he defeated him after criticising Ospreay for his high flying style earlier in the year.
Big Van Vader has previously been associated with promotions like Americal Wrestling Association, New Japan Pro Wrestling, WWE and WCW and was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2016, earlier this year.
He is popularly remembered as a ‘tough SOB’, who once had to put his eye back into its socket after the injury occurred in a match against Stan Hansen. He went on to complete the match which lasted for a gruesome 22 minutes.
