WWE News: What happened when Raw went off air?

This week’s Raw fallout was all about ‘The Boss’ Sasha Banks

After Raw went off air; Charlotte, North Carolina, witnessed a dark main event. WWE United States Champion Roman Reigns defeated WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens.

The hot news, coming out of Raw this week, was the fact that the red brand has a red-hot women’s champion- Sasha Banks. After a hard-fought falls count anywhere match, Sasha Banks would emerge victorious over the former women’s champion, Charlotte Flair.

To congratulate her, hometown legend, Ric Flair emerged and held her hand up high! Overwhelmed with emotion after this historic contest, Sasha Banks joined announcer Tom Phillips for the Raw Fallout and mentioned that she finally understood how much Charlotte missed the Women's Championship when it wasn’t in her hands.

However, Sasha Banks’ jubilation would continue through the night, as she got her belt customised with ‘Legit Boss’ side plates. During the process, she would be joined by her close friend Bayley, who had good news of her own, as she got engaged to her longtime boyfriend.

Bayley joked that the belt should have her name as well. Sasha replied asking if they were Layla and Michelle McCool. Bayley said she’s Michelle McCool because she is taller than Sasha. An endearing segment, to celebrate another historic moment. Congratulations to the Boss!

The next segment was far more baffling! As we saw the new backstage announcer Charly Caruso leaving the arena, after a hard day’s work when she was interrupted by Titus O’ Neil, who chastised her for not attending the Titus Brand press conference. After all, he had been waiting for as long as 45 minutes!

Charly Caruso would ask Titus to get in touch with Tom Phillips, as she tried to make a hasty retreat. This seems like WWE’s way to build up the Mark Henry – Titus O’ Neil feud, which will probably play out on Raw come next week.

The last Fallout video from the evening was the most significant one of the lot. This one addressed Roman Reigns’ victory over Kevin Owens on Raw, guaranteeing him a title opportunity at Roadblock: End of the Line 2016, the final pay per view event of the year.

Tom Phillips joined Reigns to find out what his reaction to this Champion vs. Champion match was. A visibly exhausted Roman Reigns said that while he had a lot of respect for Kevin Owens, who had been around the world, he did not want to mess with the ‘big shark in the big pond’.
