From the WWE Rumour Mill: WWE spoils segment for this week's Raw?
What's the story?
At TLC 2017 the WWE aired a video package promoting their next big pay-per-view, Survivor Series. The video package confirmed that Survivor Series will be a Raw vs SmackDown LIVE, brand vs brand event, but in doing so it appears that a highly anticipated segment for tomorrow's Monday Night Raw has been spoiled.
In case you didn't know...
On last week's SmackDown LIVE, WWE Title holder Jinder Mahal called out Raw WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar to a match at Survivor Series. It was then announced that Brock Lesnar would answer Jinder Mahal's challenge on the following Monday Night Raw.
The heart of the matter
During the TLC 2017 pre-show and the show itself, the WWE aired the following video promo package for Survivor Series. The aim of the video was to announce that it would be Raw vs SmackDown LIVE and to hype the pay-per-view. But did the video inadvertently spoil the Brock Lesnar segment that was planned? Take a look for yourself.
The end of the video clearly shows Jinder Mahal with a blue hue and Brock Lesner with a red filter, suggesting that the big champion vs champion match between the two men has already been locked in.
What's next?
It seems all but confirmed that Brock Lesnar will accept Jinder Mahal's Survivor Series challenge on Monday Night Raw, especially following this promotional video. However, the Brock Lesnar segment is still likely to be worth watching and maybe there'll be something else added to the match.
Author's take
The WWE should have probably left the end part of the video containing the images of Jinder Mahal and Brock Lesnar out of the footage until Brock Lesnar had accepted the challenge on Monday Night Raw.
