WWE/MMA News: WWE Superstars Dolph Ziggler and Becky Lynch turn up at tonight's UFC event
What’s the story?
WWE Superstars Dolph Ziggler and Becky Lynch seemingly turned up at tonight’s UFC event.
The UFC have put forth a tweet, featuring Ziggler and Lynch hyping up the UFC event.
In case you didn’t know…
Becky Lynch has been in a relationship with UFC fighter Luke Sanders for quite some time now.
In fact, Lynch often engages in MMA-style, sport-specific workouts, alongside Sanders.
The heart of the matter
Tonight’s UFC event, UFC on FOX: Poirier vs Gaethje, saw Luke Sanders take on Patrick Williams in a 3-round Bantamweight bout, a bout in which Sanders defeated Williams by way of Unanimous Decision.
The UFC have now sent out a tweet by way of their official Twitter account; that has WWE Superstars Dolph Ziggler and Becky Lynch hype the event.
While Ziggler spoke about how they’re there to enjoy the amazing UFC show taking place in Glendale, Arizona; Lynch asserted that they’re at the show to support 'Cool Hand' Luke Sanders:
What’s next?
Dolph Ziggler presently competes as a mid-card talent on the WWE’s SmackDown brand.
Meanwhile, Becky Lynch, who also performs on SmackDown, is expected to continue essaying her role as a key player in the blue brand’s Women’s Division in the days to come.
Author’s take
Dolph Ziggler is widely regarded as one of the greatest amateur wrestlers to have come out of Kent State University. For those unaware, Ziggler is perhaps one of the most underrated shoot-fighters on the WWE roster today.
Besides, it’s great to see that Becky Lynch, as well as Ziggler, have come out to support the former’s boyfriend, Luke Sanders. Even better is the fact that Sanders got back in the win column, after having suffered two back-to-back defeats inside the Octagon.
Here’s hoping the UFC and WWE continue to thrive in their respective realms of the sports-entertainment world.
