WWE News: WWE teases massive dream match involving The Undertaker
What’s the story?
WWE have been dropping a lot of hints on social media regarding a lot of matches lately, and one of them is The Undertaker vs Sting. WWE posted a photoshopped photo of the two legends in the end with the caption 'Imagine'.
In case you didn’t know…
The Undertaker vs Sting is something pro-wrestling fans have always wanted to see. The dream match never took place despite lots of speculations around it. Now, WWE are teasing it once again on their social media pages, but the chances of the match happening are slim.
Earlier reports suggested that Sting and The Undertaker were open to the match but were not given the go-ahead by Vince McMahon. The chairman is not keen on having the match right now given the age of the wrestlers according to the same report.
The heart of the matter
WWE have been posting a lot of things about Sting lately, and almost every other post has a mention of the WWE Hall of Famer in it. The tweet which had a photoshopped image of Sting and The Undertaker in the ring has got the WWE Universe buzzing but the follow-up posts today have indicated that it might not be a match after all.
What’s next?
WWE's latest post has an old video of The Undertaker with the caption 'Tomorrow', so I guess that's when we will get to know what all this is about finally.
My guess right now is a new WWE Network series involving WWE 2k games, or this is just a way of promoting the upcoming WWE 2K20 which might have a special edition with Sting on the cover.
Meanwhile, The Undertaker is set to team up with Roman Reigns at Extreme Rules to take on Shane McMahon and Drew McIntyre.
