WWE News: WWE Superstars perform special rendition of 'Wonderwall' in Brighton
What's the story?
The superstars of WWE were in Brighton recently for a Live event, and they decided to do something very special. Elias, The Club and Bo Dallas decided to sing the legendary Oasis song- Wonderwall, with the WWE Universe.
Here is a glimpse of what exactly went down. How cool a moment was this, right?!
In case you didn't know...
If you've been living under a rock, Wonderwall is a legendary track written and performed by UK based rock band, Oasis. Released in 1995, the song is just as popular across the world right now, as it was when it was first released in Oasis' second album- (What's the story) Morning Glory?
Because the song is so familiar to everyone in the UK and across the world, it was definitely the ideal song for the performance at hand.
The heart of the matter
The Club teamed up with Elias and Bo Dallas from The Miztourage for a showcase match against Jason Jordan, Heath Slater, Goldust and Rhyno at the Brighton Live Event. It wasn't a very long match, and wasn't a very notable match either.
The heels were defeated by the babyfaces, in almost no time. Perhaps the most notable thing about the match was the performance by the heels. As Elias' guitar jangled, Anderson, Gallows and Bo Dallas sang the familiar strains of Oasis' legendary and iconic song.
As one would expect, the loud, raucous English crowd joined along. For more results from the event, check out this link.
What's next?
The superstars of RAW will come together to bring you a special episode of the show from Manchester Arena in Mancheste, England, as part of their bi-annual trips to the United Kingdom.
Author's take
Little wonder then that WWE Superstars claim that they have more fun at Live Events than they do on TV. Their schedule is hectic, and this was a really cool way for the men to unwind.
