WWE News: WWE Unveiling New Tag Team Rules Moving Forward
What's the story?
As seen on Monday Night Raw, it appears that WWE has begun implementing new rules in their Tag Team Division which will definitely make the shows much more interesting.
In case you didn't know...
Monday Night on Raw, Braun Strowman was disqualified after he stuck Baron Corbin, whilst he wasn't the legal man in their main event tag team match that also included Kurt Angle and Drew McIntyre.
This proved that some rules in the company had changed, but it wasn't until Corey Graves went on to clarify the fact that there was going to be some changes that the WWE Universe realized that the ending to the show wasn't actually a botch.
The heart of the matter
Corey Graves pointed out on Monday Night Raw that Tag Team matches will now see the partners outside of the ring unable to keep entering illegally. This means that partners will only be able to make one save in the match and will then have to leave the ring immediately or the team will be disqualified.
WWE promised that the Tag Team Division would go through some changes in the coming months after The Revival looked to leave WWE a few weeks ago. It appears that these changes could be WWE's way of competing with AEW and ensuring that The Young Bucks are unable to sign a lot of their talent.
What's next?
The Tag Team Division in WWE has been going through a lot of changes in recent months with Heavy Machinery being called up to the main roster and being added to both the SmackDown and Raw rosters.
