WWE News: X-Pac reveals why he hasn't congratulated Mark Henry yet on Hall of Fame induction

WWE Creative is to be blamed!

What's the story?

Sean Waltman AKA X-Pac opened up about Mark Henry's Hall of Fame induction on the most recent edition of his podcast, X-Pac 12360.

Waltman refrained from publicly congratulating the World's Strongest Man on the accolade all because of one of the most disgraceful segments in WWE history, The Blackface.

In case you didn't know...

A feud between two of the greatest factions of all time in D-Generation X and Nation of Domination, was marred by the most tasteless feud in WWE history.

While the offensive tone of the rivalry was all there to be seen, WWE took it one step further by having X-Pac offensively emulate Henry by walking around with black polish and an exaggeratedly dumb voice.

While the matches were solid, the feud left a lot to be desired

The heart of the matter

Waltman acknowledged the fact that wishing Henry would have brought up the infamous angle, which would have rightfully been unfitting of the occasion.

Henry seems to have forgotten about the past and is fine with but not the former Cruiserweight Champion.

"I just didn't want to insert that into the Hall of Fame conversation. He was fine with it, but I'm not fine with it now. That's all. And there was nothing bad meant by it, but the things I know now, I'm a little embarrassed by it."

The DX member even gave his two cents on Daniel Bryan's return to the ring and said that he felt happy for the leader of the Yes! movement. He credited the timing of the decision to get Bryan back and the effort that has gone behind ensuring the former WWE Champion doesn't suffer another serious setback.

What's next?

Pac should be in attendance at the WWE Hall of Famer Ceremony that is scheduled to take place on Friday, April 6th. Goldberg will headline this year's class that will also include The Dudley Boyz, Ivory, Jeff Jarrett, Kid Rock, Hillbilly Jim, Jarius 'JJ' Robertson, and of course, Mark Henry.

Author's take

Twitterati these days can be troublesome and it was right on X-Pac's part not to add on to a chain of the congratulatory messages. We're sure 1-2-3 kid gave the Henry a call right after the deserving honor was announced.
