The Young Bucks want Daniel Bryan to get himself fired from WWE

What’s the story?

The Young Bucks have taken to social media in order to send a subtle yet hilarious message to SmackDown Live General Manager Daniel Bryan.

Apparently, the Bucks want Bryan to get photographed with them, so that the latter would get fired from the WWE, much like the rumored firing of WWE creative writer Jimmy Jacobs, who is said to have been released owing to his taking a picture alongside Matt & Nick Jackson while they tried to invade RAW a few weeks ago.

In case you didn’t know…

Matt and Nick Jackson have time and again taken shots at the WWE’s style of presentation; to the extent that the company had to send them a Cease & Desist order in the recent past.

On that note, Daniel Bryan—who, much like the Bucks, enjoyed widespread popularity on the indies; before breaking through as a top Superstar in the WWE—has been relegated to a non-wrestling role since last year, owing to injury and concussion issues.

The heart of the matter:

Nevertheless, a certain section of professional wrestling pundits is of the view that although the WWE’s doctors may be wary of clearing Bryan for in-ring competition, the Leader of the Yes! Movement may acquire medical clearance outside the promotion and compete on the indie circuit.

Speaking of which, Bryan’s contract with the WWE expires around mid-2018, following which he’s free to either renew his deal with the organization or return to the independent circuit.

Considering all the aforementioned factors, the Young Bucks have seemingly advised Bryan to get pictured with them, which in turn may possibly lead to WWE firing him much like Jimmy Jacobs; and would also free the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion to resume wrestling in the indies.

What’s next?

As of this writing, Daniel Bryan is yet to issue a response to the Young Bucks’ piece of advice.

Author’s take:

Well, love them or hate ‘em, the Bucks sure do know how to keep their name in the headlines.

As for Bryan, the man is unlikely to heed their advice seriously and even if he does get pictured with them, the WWE management is far too savvy to let go of a valuable asset such as the ‘Flying Goat’ over such a trivial issue.
