After a successful showing at SummerSlam, WWE was keen on repeating the success at Night of Champions. Overall, one has to say that the show was successful at being confusing than convincing, with a finish that is sure to create a lot of criticism if not handled properly.

Though the show can boast of well contested matches that managed to look interesting in parts, by and large the event wasn’t even close to SummerSlam in terms of storytelling and booking. The show was somehow booked just to promote RAW on Monday.

The Divas division has finally managed to become relevant. After AJ’s pipebomb things have only become better as all the Divas have suddenly come out with energy that was lacking all this while. AJ and Natalya were the pick of the divas who managed to put on a great match. The double sharpshooter from Natalya showed just why she is a member of the Hart family.

Plus Naomi had a lot of energy for her first PPV match and Bella managed to do her bit, though no one expected much from her. WWE is surely giving the divas a lot of importance now and hopefully, we will see the return of the women’s title soon.
