WWE/NXT News: War Machine make their NXT debut

Enter captRaymond Rowe and Hanson form War Machine, a dominant tag team in Ring Of Honor...
War Machine stood in between the yellow ropes for the first time tonight

What's the story?

After signing with NXT earlier this year, there's been a lot of talk about where War Machine will fit in and when they will make their debut.

Well, that moment came tonight when Warbeard Hanson and Raymond Rowe stepped in between the yellow ropes and cut a promo at an NXT live event in Sebring, Florida.

In case you didn't know...

War Machine formed in 2014 and have wrestled across the world for several different promotions, including ROH, NJPW and ICW.

Their biggest accomplishments include winning the Ring Of Honor World Tag Team Championships once and the IWGP Tag Team Championships twice.

The heart of the matter

Well, the WWE Universe has been waiting patiently to see these two men, a team highly regarded as one of the best in the world, debut.

Tonight, it finally happened.

What's next?

Well, there's no word yet as to what was said, but reports suggest the roof blew off the place when War Machine walked out of the entrance.

Will we see them on NXT television soon? You'd have to think so - and you can bet on a similar reaction when they do.

Author's take

Well, on a day overshadowed by a plethora of news and rumour, this one seems to have slipped under the radar - but it's so awesome to finally see War Machine in a WWE ring, holding WWE branded microphones. Hanson and Rowe are undoubtedly one of the best tag teams in the world, and the thought of them feuding with Authors of Pain, SAnitY, Undisputed Era, Heavy Machinery, Street Profits, etc, is mouth-watering.

I really hope this isn't a one-off and these guys now hit the ground running. With NXT TakeOver: New Orleans right around the corner, the time could be nigh for them to make their big TV debut!
