WWE NXT Results 21 February 2018, latest NXT winners, review and video highlights
The main talking point ahead of this week's episode of WWE NXT, was the main-event which pitted Johnny Gargano against NXT Champion Andrade 'Cien' Almas - with the stipulation that if Gargano failed to win, he would have to leave NXT.
Velveteen Dream vs No Way Jose
Velveteen Dream got a huge pop as he came out and it's clear that he's a future star. Jose starts off strong, taking Dream down with a clothesline before hitting him with a backdrop to force him to roll out of the ring.
Dream finally makes it back in and hits a jawbreaker before heading to the top rope for the Purple Rainmaker. Jose meets Dream with the boots. Jose then goes for the Baseball Punch but Dream dodges it and hits the Rolling Death Valley Driver. He follows it with the Purple Rainmaker before covering Jose for the win.
Velveteen Dream def. No Way Jose
After the match, Dream took the mic, saying that he wins all the awards regardless of who won NXT End Of Year awards for 2017.
William Regal is in his office next and he announces the 2018 Dusty Rhodes Invitational Tag-Team Invitational. The winners will not only receive a trophy but an NXT Tag-Team Championship shot at NXT TakeOver: New Orleans.
