This week's episode of NXT featured the return of Asuka, a bittersweet return with a huge announcement but more on that later on. The show also faced to grudge matches, first between Andrade 'Cien' Almas and Cezar Bononi and later the much-awaited No DQ match between Hideo Itami and Kassius Ohno.

Andrade came out with Zelina Vega, who headed to commentatry. Almas was set to face Cezar Bononi who beat Andrade a couple of months ago.

The match was short and Bononi’s main offense came in the middle of the match when he burst out with a massive clothesline, before taking Almas down with a remarkable dropkick for a person of his size.

Almas regained the upper hand with a brutal looking back elbow which stunned Bononi. Vega then stood up and shouted at Andrade, asking him to finish Bononi. Almas obliged and hit Bononi with the hammerlock DDT for the win.

We caught up backstage with Christy St. Cloud who was outside Asuka’s locker room. Instead of Asuka, we got Velveteen Dream who said that he would only speak when the ambience was right.
