WWE NXT Results: Female star confronts CM Punk; major name walks out; Randy Orton announcement!
WWE NXT General Manager Ava was out to kick off the show with the match contract signing between Ethan Page and Trick Williams.
Page and Williams joined Ava, and the champ complained that everyone was biased in favor of Trick, even Booker T.
He added that he enjoyed seeing everyone's shock when he beat Trick for the title and that it would be repeated.
Trick called him delusional before Page attacked Williams and put him through the table in the ring with the Ego's Edge. Neither of them signed the match contract, but NXT moved on anyway.

We saw footage from last week in which Tony D'Angelo told Hammerstone to ask for a rematch against Oba Femi, but the TNA star refused.
Tony reminded Hammerstone that he paid for his services and set up a match with the TNA star instead.
WWE NXT Results: Lyra Valkyria & Tatum Paxley vs. Wendy Choo & Rosemary
Rosemary and Paxley kicked off the match, and the two screamed at each other in the middle of the ring before Lyra came in. Lyra and Tatum sent the heels out of the ring before hitting dropkicks through the ropes.
After a break on NXT, Paxley was isolated in the ring and took a big top rope suplex from Choo. Rosemary came in with a spear and got a near fall before Lyra dragged Choo outside and hit her with a spinning kick.
Paxley took Rosemary out with a big slam in the ring before Lyra came back with a leg drop and picked up the win.

Ava was backstage and said that the match contract would be signed no matter what, and Trick Williams agreed.
Charlie Dempsey was hyping up Tavion and Miles, telling them to take the tag team division by storm before asking Wren Sinclair to prove herself with her own achievements.
WWE NXT Results: Tony D'Angelo vs. Hammerstone
Hammerstone lifted Tony D and tossed him across the ring before the Don returned with big hip tosses and hit a spinebuster. Hammerstone returned with some spears in the corner and hit a big toss again.
Tony left the ring, and we saw Oba Femi smiling as he watched the match from backstage and said, "He's broken." Out in the arena, Tony walked off and left the match as the referee counted him out.

Zachary Wentz was out at ringside and asked the production truck to play some footage for him. In the footage, we saw Trey Miguel getting in his car before Wes Lee ran in and attacked him, slamming the car door on him.
Wentz said that Lee attacked Miguel in his hometown and that he was seriously injured. He added that Lee brought it upon himself and vowed to take him out at the Street Fight in Chicago.
Backstage at NXT, we saw NBA star Tyrese Haliburton tell Ava he would take care of the match contract signing and take the contract from her.
WWE NXT Results: Eddy Thorpe vs. Ashante 'Thee' Adonis
Ashante attacked Thorpe before the bell, and once the match started, Eddy got the upper hand and got a big slam. Ashante got some kicks, and the two took each other before Thorpe was dropkicked outside the ring.
Ashante was busy showboating, and it caused him to miss his top rope move before Thorpe got the DDT for the win.

Thea Hail and Riley Osborne talked about Ridge Holland's betrayal and said that Chase U would get their revenge.
CM Punk was out next and said that he was in a better mood than he was last night.
He praised the fans for their devotion and said that he enjoyed watching superstars like Lexis King and Ethan Page and former NXT stars like Bron Breakker and Carmelo Hayes.
He said he spoke to Je'Von Evans and mentioned that he had T-shirts that were older than the Young OG. He said he wanted to be a part of the Chicago show and that Shawn Michaels allowed him leeway to do 'anything he wants.'
NXT Women's Champion Roxanne Perez interrupted Punk and said that the Best in the World was her favorite wrestler of all time but added that she preferred his wife, AJ Lee. After all that, she said she should have been a Drew McIntyre fan.
She said CM Punk just wanted to have his big moment on NXT before Drew ended his career. The champ then ranted about Giulia before Punk said he could appreciate an overconfident champion.
The lights went out, and Giulia entered before getting in the ring to tell Roxanne that the champ had two weeks left. Roxanne was about to attack her, but CM Punk stopped her before NXT continued.
Women's North American Champion Kelani Jordan was in a backstage interview when Wren Sinclair came in and slapped her to make her challenge for the title.
The D'Angelo Family was backstage, grilling Tony about what was wrong. Tony lost it and admitted that he was afraid that he couldn't beat Oba.
WWE NXT Results: No Quarter Catch Crew vs. Je'Von Evans & Cedric Alexander
Miles and Tavion took some big double-team moves early on and were sent outside before Je'Von took them out with a big dive. Back after a break, Cedric got a near fall on Tavion with a big suplex.
Evans was sent outside before Alexander took a double-team DDT for another near fall. Evans came back with a big dive before Kelani Jordan chased after Wren Sinclair, causing a distraction at ringside.
Cedric used the distraction to hit a Lumbar Check on Miles before Evans returned with a corkscrew splash and got the win.

Randy Orton tweeted right after the match and announced that he would face Je'Von Evans at the October 8 episode of NXT!
WWE NXT Results: Brooks Jensen vs. Dion Lennox
Brooks took a big spinebuster early on and took Lennox's glasses to make fun of him before the latter came back with some big shots. Jensen came back with a back-body drop before Spears tried to take Lennox's glasses.
Dion stomped on Spears' hand before Brooks caught him with a big DDT and got the win.

In a social media video, Wes Lee said he took out Zach's insurance policy by getting rid of Trey. He added that he would have won at No Mercy if Trey hadn't shown up.
Austin Theory and Grayson Waller said they would appear on NXT next week to challenge the tag champs. We learned that Axiom and Nathan Frazer already accepted the challenge, which was set for October 8.
WWE NXT Results: Lola Vice vs. Jacy Jayne
Lola Vice attacked Jayne's teammates before the match began, but Jacy took her down after the bell and got her with the cannonball in the corner. Vice came back with some big kicks before Fallon Henley interfered. Jacy failed to capitalize before Lola got the back fist for the win.
Result: Lola Vice def. Jacy Jayne on NXT
After the match, Fatal Influence attacked Lola Vice, but Jaida Parker came in and ejected them from the ring before Vice argued with Parker about the interference.
Grade: C
Tony D was backstage and told Adriana Rizzo that he had failed them. Adriana told him they were family and that he should take another shot at Oba to prove himself.
Rizzo added that Tony should get special training for the match before NXT continued.
NBA star Tyrese Haliburton was out next and called out Trick Williams and Ethan Page to sign the match contract again.
Trick signed as Page walked to the ring, and the champ said he gave Williams an out, but he didn't take it.
Ethan said that Williams could not win and signed the contract after some trash-talking. Tyrese was walking out but came back to call CM Punk out again. Punk got in the ring before going back to talking about the announcement that was interrupted earlier.
CM Punk said the match needed something special and announced he would be the special guest referee! The only rule in the match was that they had to listen to Punk, and he allowed them to start fighting immediately.
Williams and Page immediately started a brawl, and officials came to separate them as NXT went off the air.
