Pete Dunne finally got his hands on Roderick Strong this week on NXT

NXT was live from Full Sail University again this week and it appears that NXT has been forced to adjust after losing a number of superstars to the main roster following WrestleMania and the Superstar Shakeup.

There were a number of debuts on the show this week and some were arguably more impressive than others, whilst the issues between The Undisputed Era and the British stars on NXT finally boiled over.

NXT kicked off with The Undisputed Era backstage as the Tag Team Championships bragged about the fact that they attacked Oney Lorcan and Danny Birch following the match between Lorcan and Adam Cole for the North American Championship last week. The segment also saw Roderick Strong build up his match with Pete Dunne in NXT's main event.

Kairi Sane was given the task of welcoming Australian star Shazza McKenzie to NXT this week as the duo faced off in McKenzie's first match.

The two women shook hands ahead of the match before Sane quickly took advantage after hitting her Interceptor spear and sliding forearm in the corner. She then set up for her Insane Elbow and to make quick work of her latest opponent.

After the match, Lacey Evans made her way to the ring to apologize to Sane after underestimating her ahead of their match a few weeks ago in New Orleans. The Lady of NXT held out her hand to Sane but when the Japanese star refused the gesture, she was welcomed with a stiff right hand.

Backstage Cathy Kelley spoke to Candice LeRae about the attack that her husband Johnny Gargano was subjected to at the hands of his former friend Tommaso Ciampa last week, but LeRae was unable to convey her thoughts because she was still emotional about the situation.
