WWE NXT Results: Top champ destroyed; controversial reveal announced; massive Dominik Mysterio announcement

We got a great episode of WWE NXT tonight with two big title matches and massive announcements for NXT Deadline!

  • Noam Dar vs. Chad Gable ended in a tie, and Dar retained the Heritage Cup
  • Angel Garza & Humberto Carrillo def. Edris Enofe & Malik Blade
  • Josh Briggs def. Carmelo Hayes
  • Blair Davenport def. Thea Hail
  • Eddy Thorpe def. Charlie Dempsey
  • Lyra Valkyria def. Xia Li to retain the NXT Women's Championship

WWE NXT Results (November 21, 2023): Noam Dar (c) vs. Chad Gable - Heritage Cup match

Round 1 started slow, and Gable was in control. When we got to Round 2, Chad went for an armbar on the ropes. Oro Mensah came in with a cheap shot from the apron and allowed Dar to get the Nova Roller and pick up the first pin.

Round 3 saw Gable being sent out of the ring, and once they got back to the ring, we got a big superplex but no pins. Gable came back in Round 4 with a big dive before taking a big knee strike.

Round 5 ended in seconds, with Gable getting a pin with Chaos Theory. The final round saw both men exchanging strikes in the middle of the ring before Chad got a near fall off an inverted DDT. Gable got the Ankle lock and transitioned to the Grapevine before the clock counted down, and Dar tapped out right as the clock hit zero.

Result: Noam Dar vs. Chad Gable ended in a tie, and Dar retained the Heritage Cup

After the match, Mensah tried to shove Otis down but got thrown across the ring. Maxxine Dupri slapped Lash Legend in the face before Otis chased them out of the ring.

Grade: B


Tony D'Angelo and Stacks were at their pizzeria, and there was a surprise party for the new champs.

Trick Williams was backstage and wanted to be at ringside for Carmelo's Iron Survivor Qualifier match tonight. Melo said that he wanted to 'play it solo' and wanted Trick to stay backstage.

Lyra Valkyria was making her entrance when she was attacked and taken down by Xia Li.


Angel Garza & Humberto Carrillo vs. Edris Enofe & Malik Blade on WWE NXT

Carrillo and Enofe kicked off the match, and Blade came in off a tag early on and hit a big dropkick. Blade was dropped outside the ring, and Humberto followed up with a big running knee off the apron.

Garza tagged in and got some strikes in the ring before we got some hot tags with Blade and Enofe trying for a big sequence but missed the 450 splash.

Humberto came back with a powerbomb before he and Garza hit the assisted Alarm Clock for the win.

Result: Angel Garza & Humberto Carrillo def. Edris Enofe & Malik Blade

Carmelo Hayes vs. Josh Briggs on WWE NXT

Briggs was sent outside early on before he came back with some strikes but took a big kick on the ropes. Melo hit a rope-assisted leg drop before getting a dive to the outside but got caught as he dove off the barricades.

Melo barely avoided being dropped on the announce desk before being sent over it and onto the chairs. Melo came back with a Rana in the ring before getting the codebreaker.

Lexis King distracted Melo before catching a kick from the latter on the apron. The distraction allowed Briggs to come in with a clothesline and the moonsault for the win.

Result: Josh Briggs def. Carmelo Hayes

Grade: B


Von Wagner attended Mr. Stone's house for dinner and offered to help his kids with their bullies at school.


Wes Lee was out next and said he would get back the NXT North American Championship, no matter what it takes. Dominik Mysterio came out and said that he already got a title shot but failed to get the win.

Lee replied that Judgment Day was the only reason he couldn't secure the title before Dominik said that Lee would have to beat three other former NA Champs next week if he wanted another title shot.


Thea Hail vs. Blair Davenport on WWE NXT

Davenport was in control early on and sent Hail into the ring post before taking her down with a big boot to the face.

Davenport focused on Hail's arm with an armbar before she was sent outside, and Hail got a big slam on the floor.

Hail for a big rolling senton before trying for a big springboard dive, but Davenport reversed it and hit a knee strike before getting the pin.

Result: Blair Davenport def. Thea Hail

Grade: C


Eddy Thorpe vs. Charlie Dempsey on WWE NXT

Dempsey started with a few submission holds before getting a big dropkick on Thorpe. Eddy took a big underhook suplex before the two exchanged strikes in the middle of the ring.

Dempsey went back to a headlock and an abdominal stretch before Thorpe broke out and hit a big slam. Thorpe came back with some massive kicks and took Dempsey into the corner before getting the win off an improvised rollup.

Result: Eddy Thorpe def. Charlie Dempsey

Gulak and his boys attacked Thorpe in a three-on-one beatdown after the match before NXT moved on.

Grade: B-


We learned that Andre Chase will address the controversy regarding him and Chase U next week on NXT.

Tony D and Stacks were still at the restaurant collecting what looked like extortion money from business owners like a real mafia boss. They headed out the back when Los Lotharios attacked and laid them out, demanding a title match.

They rushed off as soon as the champs were down, and when Tony recovered, he yelled that they accepted the challenge.


Lyra Valkyria (c) vs. Xia Li - WWE NXT Women's Championship match

Valkyria started strong, but Li managed to get in control and took her down with some kicks and knee strikes.

Li was sent outside and, when she came back, stomped on the champ's elbow, which looked painful.

After a break, Lyra came back with some big strikes before getting a kick to the head but was caught in a headlock.

The champ took the spinning uranage but dropped Li with the Phantom Driver before picking up the win.

Result: Lyra Valkyria def. Xia Li to retain the NXT Women's Title
