WWE NXT Results: Top star's career "over;" former champ returns after 301 days; major name to quit? (12/10/2024)

Giulia kicked off WWE NXT and said that now that she was the Iron Survivor, she was going to go on to win the NXT Women's Championship from Roxanne Perez at New Year's Evil. Roxanne came out and said that Giulia only won since they ran out of time and that she wouldn't even make it to the event in the first place.

Cora Jade showed up, and we saw footage of Stephanie Vaquer being laid out backstage. Cora took credit for the attack on Vaquer and joined Roxanne as they surrounded Giulia in the ring.

Kelani Jordan showed up to make the save and sent Jade and Perez running before the show moved on.


Tony D'Angelo offered Ethan Page a North American Championship match tonight. Ethan initially refused but then came around to accepting the match. Page said this was his last chance, and if he lost the title match, his career would be "pretty much over."

Backstage on NXT, Lexis King asked Charlie Dempsey for a Heritage Cup match, and Dempsey said he would think about it.

WWE NXT Results: Je'Von Evans vs. Wes Lee

Evans had the early advantage, and after a break on NXT, Lee returned with some forearm strikes. Je'Von sent Lee outside and hit a big dive before Lee got a near fall off a dropkick.

Back outside, Lee was sent into the barricades before Evans came back with a superkick. Lee countered a Frankensteiner before Evans got a Spanish Fly. The two traded pin attempts in the middle of the ring before Evans hit the Corkscrew Plancha for the win.

Result: Je'Von Evans def. Wes Lee

After the match, it looked like Lee was devastated. His losing streak may lead to his leaving the brand, hopefully for the main roster.

Grade: B


We got promos from Josh Briggs and Yoshiki Inamura, and the newly formed tag team said they were ready to take over NXT.


Giulia and Kelani were backstage on NXT and said they would go after Cora Jade and Roxanne Perez.


WWE NXT Results: Hank & Tank vs. Tyriek Igwe and Tyson Dupont

Tyson and Tank kicked off the match, and the latter got some big moves before tagging Hank in. Tyriek tagged in and isolated Hank in the ring before the latter came back with a big boot and hit some big moves in the corner.

Hank got some big splashes in the corner before Tank hit a big dive at ringside. Hank got the Big Boss Slam in the ring and tagged Tank in for the double-team finisher before getting the win.

Result: Hank & Tank def. Tyriek Igwe and Tyson Dupont

Grade: B-


Oba Femi was out next and bragged about winning the Iron Survivor match before he was interrupted by Trick Williams.

Eddy Thorpe was also out and said that Oba took him out to get into the Iron Survivor match. Oba denied the allegations and brushed them off before addressing Trick.

Femi told the champ that Williams was on top only because Oba allowed it and that he would start 2025 as the new NXT Champ. After Oba was gone, Eddy asked Trick why he didn't stand up for him and called him a "manufactured sports entertainer."

Trick challenged Thorpe to a match next week before dropping him with a right hook and walking out of the ring.


WWE NXT Results: Fatal Influence vs. Gigi Dolin & Tatum Paxley

Fatal Influence tried to isolate Paxley early on, but the latter made the tag to Dolin, who turned things around. Dolin and Jayne were in the ring, and the latter taunted Gigi before getting some big double-team kicks.

Paxley tagged in and hit some big suplexes before getting a double crossbody in the corner. Fallon Henley came in out of nowhere and dropped Paxley off the top rope after taking out Dolin at ringside, allowing Jayne to roll Tatum up for the win.

Result: Fatal Influence def. Gigi Dolin & Tatum Paxley

Fatal Influence beat up Paxley after the match, and Shotzi made her big return just in time for New Year's Evil. Shotzi ran in and took out the heels with the help of Paxley and Dolin before NXT moved on.

Grade: B


Backstage, Nathan Frazer and Axiom realized that next week, they booked a tag team title match while Axiom also had a singles match against Oba Femi.


WWE NXT Results: Tony D'Angelo (c) vs. Ethan Page - NXT North American Championship match

Ethan got some big moves early and hit a diving tackle for a near fall before Tony came back with a back-body drop.

The champ got a big spear for a near fall before Page countered the Forgetaboutit and hit a big boot.

The Don countered Ego's Edge but took a kick from the middle rope before Page got another near fall off a neckbreaker. Page went for the Ego's Edge again before Tony countered it into a spinebuster and got the win.

Result: Tony D'Angelo def. Ethan Page to retain the NXT North American Championship

Grade: B+


Lexis King was backstage when Charlie Dempsey told him he would get his title match if he could survive a workout with Dempsey.


In the parking lot, Ethan Page said that he had lost his way and didn't think he was good enough.


WWE NXT Results: Cora Jade & Roxanne Perez vs. Giulia & Kelani Jordan

Perez and Jade attacked Giulia as she made her entrance, and Jordan came out before all four of them headed to the ring. The heels were sent back outside, and Jordan hit a big dive before the match officially started, with Perez and Jordan in the ring.

Giulia came in off the tag early on and went for a knee in the corner, but Jade dragged Perez out of the way. After a break on NXT, Giulia dodged the PopRox before dropping Perez with a suplex. Jade broke up the following pin before Giulia interrupted a double-team move.

Jade hit Giulia with a big knee, taking her out before Roxanne hit Jordan with the PopRox on the floor. Giulia hit Roxanne with a double stomp, and the two disappeared at ringside as Jade hit Jordan with a big move and got the win.

Result: Cora Jade & Roxanne Perez def. Giulia & Kelani Jordan

Vaquer showed up after the match and attacked Jade before breaking Cora's kendo stick. Jade ran up into the crowd, and Vaquer chased her.

Grade: B+


We saw Eddy Thorpe signing a contract with Ava for his match against Trick Williams.

He revealed that he put on an act and wasn't attacked at all. This confession visibly shocked Ava as the show went off the air.
