NXT tag team to feud with the New Day?, backstage update on the tag team titles and more

New... Day rocks!

- The New Day have not only gotten themselves over with the WWE Universe but also have succeeded in impressing the WWE officials backstage.

The WWE’s top brass are quite high on the Tag team Champions as they have achieved something, what earlier wasn’t expected of them. Big E, Xavier and Kofi have managed to do everything that they were asked of and also have been getting props for turning an underwhelming gimmick into pure gold.

They are currently slotted into a feud with the returning Usos and there are no reports of a possible title change at the moment.

What’s interesting is that, according to reports, WWE had planned to call up NXT stars Enzo Amore and Collin Cassidy to have a feud with the New Day. That plan, unfortunately, fell through after Big Cass suffered an injury that forced him out to the sidelines.

It should also be noted that the decision to let New Day retain their titles against the Dudleys at Hell In a Cell was taken at the very last moment by Vince McMahon. The Dudleys were originally supposed to win the titles for the 10th time, but the plans were dropped by McMahon at the last hour.

- The New Day have amassed quite a cult fan following it seems as a group of New Day fans got into trouble with security at the RAW tapings from Machester, England.

The issue arose when the fans were told by the security that onesies(one-piece jumpsuit) weren’t allowed, which was what the fans were wearing. In spite of that, the fans ended up inside the arena wearing the unicorn onesies and also promised that they would be back in the same attire for WrestleMania 32.

This drew comments from New Day members Big E, Xavier and Kofi. Below are the posts:

The New Day fans, it seems are as entertaining as the tag team itself.
