WWE Royal Rumble weekend is almost here, and along with it so is WWE NXT Takeover: Phoenix. The first Takeover for 2019 is set to feature a huge card for some of the best performers on NXT.
The NXT Championship will be defended by Tommaso Ciampa as he takes on Aleister Black. Bianca Belair has shown an incredible ability and she said that she does not need to heed Shayna Baszler. However, she better be aware as Baszler will have the help of Marina Shafir and Jessamyn Duke to back her up.
Kassius Ohno has not been his usual friendly self and has attacked Matt Riddle and Keith Lee on separate occasions. He will now face Riddle in a Singles match to settle their differences.
The Undisputed Era is done running from War Raiders, as they will finally face each other on equal footing when they battle for the NXT Tag Team Titles.
Also, Johnny Gargano will face Ricochet on his road to continue on and gain back his reputation by winning the NXT North American Championship.
