WWE officials unhappy with The Rock
The Rock once again surprised the fans during the latest edition of Monday night RAW in Miami.
WWE teased the return of a huge superstar throughout the entire night. For a moment, everyone thought it was The Miz, but it soon turned out that it was none other than ‘The Great One’.
Rock’s return certainly electrified the Miami crowd but not everyone was happy with the way things turned out. It’s being reported that WWE officials backstage were not happy with the Rock breaking kayfabe to address four fans in the front row dressed as The Rock, The Undertaker, Randy Savage, and Hulk Hogan.
As seen on RAW, The Rock went ‘off the script’ when the Miami crowd started chanting “Randy Savage”. He even acknowledged going off the script on the microphone to talk to the fans drawing attention to themselves.
After the ‘off the script’ segment, Rock brought the promo back on track.
It’s also being reported that after the match between Bray Wyatt and Kane, security was told to cut those four fans out of the arena and that there were WWE officials that were visibly upset by the incident. The fans were taken out of the arena and were advised to calm down, before being brought back in.
However, being at The Rock’s position has its own perks, as he can get away with anything, but he’ll most likely be warned not to do it, the next time he comes to Raw or Smackdown.
Backstage word is that if any other star barring Cena or Rock would’ve gone off the script, he would have already been fired by now.
