WWE planning to induct WrestleMania matches into Hall of Fame
According to PWInsider Elite, the WWE is planning to induct the WrestleMania I main event into the Hall Of Fame.
If it happens, this will be the first time that a match is being inducted into the Hall Of Fame which could open the door for similar inductions in the future.
The WrestleMania I main event was a tag team match with Hulk Hogan, Mr.T and Jimmy Snuka in one side while Roddy Piper, Paul Orndorff with Bob Orton was on the other side. And the company is believed to be in efforts to hijack all of them for the ceremony.
WWE has already patched with Roddy Piper while edging closer to securing Hulk Hogan and the negotiations with Mr.T has been already kicked off.
If it goes through Hogan, Piper, Orndorff, Orton and Snuka would become two-time Hall of Famers like Ric Flair.
