SK WWE Power Rankings: 23 October, 2016
The week that went by would be mostly remembered for one thing: Goldberg‘s return. Goldberg returned to the WWE arena after more than a decade and his presence was enough to give WWE a big push ahead of their upcoming pay-per-view ventures.
Not only did Goldberg give the ratings a boost, he also went on to break the Internet as the entire wrestling community went into chaos after seeing him.
This return ended up overshadowing most of the other action that went down this week, but as far as the Power Rankings are concerned, everything reflected. Here is a look at how things changed in this week’s WWE Power Rankings.
#10 James Ellsworth (NC)
James Ellsworth manages to keep his place in the Power Rankings thanks to his win over AJ Styles. This was the second win in a row for Ellsworth and though it came through disqualification, it is still a win in the record books and that is something worth noting.
The future of Ellsworth might still be hanging up in the air, but getting two wins over the WWE champion and making your T-Shirt outsell many others, are big achievements indeed.
Ellsworth might not be in the Power Rankings next week but for the time being, for the second week in a row, he keeps his place.
