WWE Power Rankings: February 15, 2014
Every week the WWE.com with the aid of Academy of Wrestling Arts and Science makes a rank list which ranks the WWE superstars based on their performance throughout the week.
And this week, the company came out with some great upsets and glimpses into the future. Though the shows weren’t up to the mark set by previous week’s ones, there were matches here and there which proved to be the life saver for the company.
Randy Orton’s road to Elimination Chamber was made more treacherous with a loss to John Cena and Antonio Cesaro while Daniel Bryan made a step forward in his feud with the Authority.
However, the Shield- Wyatt Family feud was the one which took the centre stage and stole the show. The tension between the trios reached the epitome this week and further pushed the anticipation levels.
An average week to sum up in terms of in ring action, so let’s take a look at how the superstars moved and fell as a result in the Power Rankings.
25- Natalya (Previous Rank- Nil)
The valentine’s week proved to be the lucky charm of Natalya as he cracked her way into the Power Rankings after a long break. However, the queen of hearts is nowhere near the title scene at the moment which makes leaves in a precarious position.
24- Darren Young (Previous Rank- Nil)
The end of the Prime Time Player Tag team is proving to be a good thing for Darren Young as he finds himself with a place in the Power Rankings. A win over Damien Sandow and the post-match heroics against former partner Titus O’Neil gives Young an impressive week.
23- Rey Mysterio (Previous Rank- 21)
Though Rey gave solid performance throughout the week, the ultimate underdog was on the unlucky side both on Raw and SmackDown. The tag loss at Raw was followed by a fatal four way loss at SmackDown.
He also witnessed the title shot at Intercontinental title slip through his hand and losses ground on the power rankings.
22- Mark Henry (Previous Rank- nil)
The World’s strongest man made his return this week on Raw only to get the triple power bomb from the Shield. He then suffered a loss at SmackDown in the fatal four way match. However, the match against Dean Ambrose counted as a win due to disqualification and this gets Henry a place in the rankings.
21- The Miz (Previous Rank-22)
After ranting about not getting enough air time for the past couple of week, the Awesome one finally got his chance to get his hands dirty at SmackDown. Miz came out with a win against Fandango and climbs one spot in the rankings.
