WWE: Preview for 7th October RAW

CM Punk

After the chaotic ending at WWE Battleground, WWE rolls out of Consol Energy Center in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania with this week’s edition of Monday Night RAW, and what an exciting episode it promises to be! The Big Show, seemingly at the orders of the General Manager of RAW Brad Maddox, came out to make sure that Daniel Bryan didn’t walk out of the Niagara Center in Buffalo as the new WWE champion. But the giant had other plans, as he also made sure that Randy Orton didn’t walk out with the prestigious title around his waist, as he knocked out the Viper, as well as a returning Scott Armstrong, who was unceremoniously fired from the WWE by the COO of the company, Triple H. So what can we expect from this week’s episode? Let’s find out.

CM Punk outsmarts Paul Heyman

At Battleground, the Second City Saint squared off against the “Big beautiful man” Ryback, with Paul Heyman in his corner. After a grueling bout, Paul Heyman tried to capitalize on the distraction caused by Ryback, but it eventually backfired as the referee caught Heyman in the act, which gave CM Punk the opportunity to beat Heyman at his own game, low blowing Ryback and picking up the victory in the process. It was the second time within a week that the Straight Edge saviour outsmarted his former mentor and best friend. It’ll be interesting to see what Heyman has in store this week, as CM Punk’s promise of “ripping Heyman’s face off” still hasn’t come good. Will Heyman propose a rematch at the next PPV? What will Punk have in store for Heyman? We’ll find out in a few hours.

The Rhodes’ stand tall in the face of adversity

If there ever was a true “feel good moment” for a family in the WWE, it has to be the Rhodes’ family reunion last night. After years of torment and bad blood between the brothers, Goldust and Cody finally resolved their issues and stood tall along with their father, the legendary Dusty Rhodes. They say when the going gets tough, the tough get going and that was exactly what happened last night at WWE Battleground. The Rhodes have finally one – upped the McMahons, and it will be interesting to see what Cody and Goldust have in store for Triple H and Stephanie McMahon, now that they’re officially a part of the WWE Universe once again.

What’s next for Alberto Del Rio?

Alberto Del Rio put on an impressive performance last night against Rob Van Dam during their hardcore bout for the World Heavyweight championship. ADR finally put his doubters to rest when he defeated RVD clean to retain the title. With RVD taking some time off, who will step up to challenge Del Rio? Has the Mexican warrior finally silenced his critics? Or will the other superstars have anything to say about that? Also, when will Damien Sandow cash in his Money in the Bank contract? Will tonight finally be the night? There are a lot of questions which will be answered on tonight’s episode of Monday Night RAW!

The senior McMahon to return tonight?

Rumours are running rampant about Vince McMahon returning to WWE TV tonight on RAW. The last time the senior McMahon made his presence felt was when the new corporation shaped up. After initiating the attack on Daniel Bryan, Vince has disappeared from sight. With the possibility of Vince returning to RAW tonight, who will incur his wrath? Also, with Stephanie and Triple H claiming to “own” the WWE, will Vince have anything to say to his daughter and his son – in – law? There are a lot of interesting possibilities that can come out of tonight’s episode, which makes it a must watch edition of RAW!

Daniel Bryan’s assiduous ascent to the championship continues

At WWE Battleground, Daniel Bryan was ever so close to getting his hands on the coveted WWE championship when he had Randy Orton trapped in the LaBelle lock. As the Viper was about to tap out to the submission hold, The Big Show came out and dragged out the referee. As the stunned crowd looked on, Show knocked out Bryan, seemingly helping Orton and Brad Maddox. Show had other ideas, however as he knocked out the Apex Predator as well, standing amidst the chaos to close the show. With Daniel Bryan once again being cheated out of the title, what will the two time WWE champion have in store for the giant and Brad Maddox? What’s next for Daniel Bryan? Also, what will Maddox and Orton have in store for The Big Show?

We will get all our answers and much more, as we get to witness the fallout of WWE Battleground on tonight’s exciting episode of Monday Night RAW! Do join us for our live review starting at 5:30 AM IST.
