Last week, the entire WWE Universe was shocked to hear the news of Chyna’s death. Chyna has been a true pioneer in the women’s wrestling in WWE and paved the way for future generations.
She was considered to be the most popular women during the Attitude Era period and was nicknamed “9th Wonder of the World” due to her unmatchable strength. Some personal problems resulted the end of her WWE tenure and she ended up being a famous adult film artist. Chyna died when she was only 46.
With her death, WWE decided to let bygones be bygones and again started to acknowledge her contributions for the company. She is the only woman wrestler till date to win Intercontinental Championship in 2 different occasions. She also won Women’s Championship at WrestleMania X7 defeating Ivory. Chyna is the first woman to compete in a Royal Rumble match. With all these accomplishments, it was about time WWE acknowledged her again.
