WWE RAW: 3 botches and mistakes you missed this week (2nd December 2019)
This week's episode of Monday Night RAW seemingly surrounded whether or not Seth Rollins was going to apologize to the WWE Locker Room. Rollins went ahead with the apology but the mystery of The Authors of Pain continued as the former Universal Champion denied any involvement with their beatdown on Kevin Owens last week.
AOP attacked once again on RAW this week, taking out Kevin Owens but this time they dragged him into the back and nothing more was said about the angle.
RAW Women's Champion Becky Lynch was a notable absence this week since Charlotte Flair was forced to take on The Kabuki Warriors in a handicap match. Flair was unsuccessful in her attempt to beat both Asuka and Kairi Sane after Sane was able to pin the former 10-time Women's Champion.
It was an interesting week on RAW as the company came down from the high of Survivor Series weekend, which means that once again the show contained a number of botches.
#3 Jerry Lawler thought that Aleister Black's finisher was called Black Magic
Aleister Black returned to the ring this week on RAW and managed to defeat Tony Nese when he delivered a thunderous Black Mass. Since this was the first time Black had wrestled on RAW since he was drafted over, Lawler hasn't had the opportunity to commentate on a match that Black has performed in, which could be why he thought his finisher was called Black Magic.
After the move was delivered, Lawler shouted out Black Magic before Vic Joseph later stated that it was called Black Mass. Black has a number of moves relating to his name but he doesn't have anything in his arsenal called Black Magic, so it's confusing how Lawler came across the term.
