WWE Raw: 3 Mistakes WWE made on this week's show
This week's Raw came after a great WWE Stomping Grounds and fair to say, WWE managed to give a few surprises along the way. The flagship show had its fair share of good moments and bad ones but the former outnumbered the bad ones this week.
Also, the Undertaker showed up unannounced, aiding Roman Reigns and saving him from a critical beat down by Shane McMahon and Drew McIntyre. The same tag team match has been set up for Extreme Rules. Ricochet, the new United States Champion got pinned clean by AJ Styles which was a huge surprise.
Also, Samoa Joe seems to be the new contender for the WWE Championship as he attacked Kofi Kingston after his match against Kevin Owens. One of the biggest talking points from the show was the mixed tag team match that has been set up for Extreme Rules. Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch against Baron Corbin and Lacey Evans in a winner takes it all match.
WWE has wasted no time in setting up feuds for the next pay per view and in this slideshow, we take a look at the three mistakes that WWE made this week on the Red Brand:
#3 Overuse of Kofi Kingston on Raw
The current WWE Champion Kofi Kingston has been on quite a run since his huge WrestleMania win and at Stomping Grounds, he and Dolph Ziggler put on a show in a Steel Cage and Kofi managed to retain his belt.
What Brand split means is that the two champions should be seen the most on their separate brands but since the Wild Card rule, Kofi has been seen on both brands and this week, we saw him compete in two back to back matches and also take a beat down from Samoa Joe.
What I fear of WWE is that by showing too much of Kofi on TV, they will end up decreasing the momentum that KofiMania has gathered since March. Nevertheless, his feud with Samoa Joe will surely freshen things up.
