WWE RAW - Best and Worst - Major star's push is over; huge match set for Crown Jewel; Roman Reigns reunion canceled?
As Adam Pearce declared last week, WWE RAW is definitely a war. Just like every other episode, tonight's show wasn't a quiet one. Things turned chaotic right from the start.
So much is happening, especially with Bad Blood approaching. Many feuds progressed, like Rhea Ripley vs. Liv Morgan getting a new stipulation. However, many more things happened on WWE RAW—bigger things.
So, let's get into the biggest positives and negatives from the show.
#3. Best: Another great promo
After CM Punk sold his Hell in a Cell Match with Drew McIntyre on WWE RAW last week, it was The Scottish Warrior's turn to do just that. McIntyre cut an emotional promo on how this feud with Punk has taken a toll on his mental health.
The biggest takeaway from Drew McIntyre's promo on WWE RAW was that he promised to make CM Punk bleed. That is a big spoiler for Bad Blood, where color is expected. The two have to deliver on that promise now, and based on how nasty and personal this storyline has been, they likely will.
#2. Worst: The wait continues
It seems like we've reached that point in the story where Sami Zayn should have already gotten a match against Gunther, especially after he defeated Ludwig Kaiser. However, the World Heavyweight Champion continues to reject the challenge.
This has been going on for the entire month. A match between Zayn and Gunther now seems impossible for Bad Blood, despite the weekly challenges on WWE RAW. So, if that was always the case, this feud would've been better off starting a few weeks later.
It's getting stagnant very quickly. Something needs to change. It likely will, as Crown Jewel is the next event on the calendar, but that's not helping right now.
#2. Best: The monsters are out on WWE RAW
Just like every other week, Bronson Reed and Braun Strowman brought the destruction to WWE RAW. This time, it came at the expense of the Australian star's scheduled match against The Miz. Strowman flew off the barricade to tackle Reed, kicking off their latest brawl.
A bunch of security guards got destroyed, as the two monsters couldn't keep their hands off each other. The only thing that was missing was the ring completely collapsing. Oh well, something's got to be saved for next week.
Adam Pearce announced that Braun Strowman and Bronson Reed would face off in a Last Monster Standing Match on WWE RAW next Monday. It remains to be seen what kind of insanity the two have loaded up.
#1. Best/Worst: It finally happened!
The wait is over for Jey Uso. After several attempts, he has finally won a singles title!
It's a great moment for The YEET Master, especially after his match before becoming the Intercontinental Champion. However, there is one issue. What happened to Bron Breakker?
He seemed like the fastest-rising star on RAW, only for him to lose clean to Uso. After the delayed start to his IC Title reign, so much more was expected from Breakker as champion. Where he goes next from here is anybody's guess, but it doesn't look good for now.
So, while Bron Breakker may struggle after losing his championship, it's time for Jey Uso to soar. He needs to prove his worth as a top-tier singles star before Roman Reigns and The Bloodline come calling. Is the reunion even happening now? So many questions!
