WWE RAW: Locker Room Talk – August 19, 2013

The backstage area has played an important role in the WWE over the years. From earth shattering interviews to backstage brawls, they have been an integral part of the wrestling world.
So, we bring to you WWE RAW ‘locker room’, an article that highlights all the backstage segments on your favourite show:
1) Brad Maddox
Maddox is seen backstage as he introduces himself as the G.M of RAW. He then talks about Dolph Ziggler’s alleged comments about how the latter never trusted Triple H ever since working here and that he was unsure about what Triple H’s intentions were. Courtesy of his comments and his ‘show-off’ ness, Ziggler is placed in a 3-on-1 handicap match against The Shield by the G.M.
2) Total Divas strike again
As the Funkadactyls are seen backstage preparing for their match, The Bella twins confront them and tell the former to perform better than how they do on Total Divas. The Divas exchange some ‘girly gestures’ as the segments wound up.
3) The Big Show
Big Show talks about teaming up with Mark Henry and challenging The Shield for the tag team titles. He is then interrupted by Brad Maddox, who, courtesy of Big Show’s disparaging comments on Triple H, puts him in a match against all three members of The Shield. Big Show drew a huge cheer, as he said ‘ are you sure you want to do that to The Shield’? as the segment ends.
4) Footlocker Segment
A room fool of ‘Footlocker’ merchandise is seen as Zack Ryder and Justin Gabriel look at all the shoes, shorts, shirts etc. Fandango’s music hits as the former vacate the scene. He enquires if the shoes will aid him in dancing , for which he receives an affirmative from the salesman. Fandango then picks up a pair of shoes and dances his way out of the scene.
5) Ryback ‘bullying’ saga
Ryback continued his ‘bullying campaign’ this week on RAW as he now picked on some amateur wrestler, who was apparently occupying the former’s Locker Room. Ryback throws his weight around and does a bunch of ‘throwing the latter’s bag and asking him to go pick it up’ routines. He makes the amateur do some more meaningless chores as the segment winds up.
6) Stephanie McMahon
Brad Maddox meets Stephanie McMahon and tells her that Daniel Bryan is still in the building despite being ordered out of the arena by Stephanie McMahon earlier that night. Stephanie smiles and says ‘good’ as she proceeds to enter Mr McMahon’s cabin.
