WWE RAW: Power Rankings – September 2, 2013
Sportskeeda presents the ‘Power Rankings’ from this week’s WWE RAW episode. We aim at ranking superstars based on their weekly performance every Monday night. So, let us have a look at the performances of the superstars this week.
10) Prime Time Players
For the fourth consecutive week, The Prime Time Players manage to land a spot in our rankings. This week on RAW, they faced Jinder Mahal and Heath Slater of 3MB. The match went back and forth initially and then picked up pace. Both teams put up a fair show, but the PTP edged 3MB on the night, and are closing in on their pursuit of the tag team titles.
9) The Miz
The Miz has done an amazing job helping the WWE with its promotional work. However, he continues to get less screen time. This week, he faced Fandango (kudos to him for wrestling with a broken nose). The match was a short one and not exciting in any manner. Miz picked up the win with the used and abused figure four leg lock. The move has lost its sanctity!
8) Dolph Ziggler
Credits to Ziggler for putting up a fight despite being ambushed by Ambrose before the match. He faced Ryback , who finally entered the wrestling ring after weeks of bullying. Ryback made quick work of Ziggler and won the bout. Still wonder if Dolph’s comment earned him a date with the bully.
7) Ryback
Not far from his RAW opponent is Ryback at seven. He faced a worn out Dolph Ziggler. Despite the ‘Goldberg’ chants, Ryback showed his dominant persona as he made quick work of Ziggler. Not sure what the WWE have in store for Ryback, but he seems to be making many sporadic appearances as of late despite being in fine shape.
6) Big Show
Big Show’s wrestling match makes me want to rate him higher. But his ‘emotional outburst’ is what keeps him at 6. Despite having an ‘Iron clad contract’ and a pair of ‘Iron fists’, Big Show continues to bore us with the emotional drama. Despite getting the angle justified, he just fails to make an impression like he has done for the last decade. Anyways, Big Show faced Bryan in the main event on RAW. He put up a fair fight and was about to leave before being forced to knock out Daniel Bryan. He cried again, and that is very much it.
