WWE: RAW Preview, 12th August 2013

With just a week to go for the SummerSlam PPV, the “go home” RAW comes to us live from Sacramento, California. The matches for SummerSlam have already been announced, although we might see a couple more bouts added to the card. Also, a few matches were added last week on Smackdown!, and going into this week’s RAW, CM Punk vs Paul Heyman has already been advertised for the show! So what can we expect from this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW? Let’s look at the RAW preview for this week, and see what’s in store for us.

Bray Wyatt faces Kane’s fiery wrath

Last week, Bray Wyatt and “The Family” attacked yet another superstar. As Wyatt posed in front of his latest victim, the all too familiar pyros went off, as Kane delivered a strong message to the eerie Bray Wyatt. Kane then challenged Wyatt to a “Ring of fire” match at SummerSlam, saying he will take his soul, and torment him for his enjoyment.

As Kane lit up the turnbuckles once again, Bray Wyatt kneeled down with a sinister smile on his face. Bray Wyatt has to be the darkest character in the WWE since Kane, and come Sunday, the two demented superstars battle it out in an inferno match, where either of the superstars can win by pinfall or submission.

Will Kane send yet another message to Bray Wyatt this week? Or will the Wyatt Family strike again? Who will be the victim of Wyatt Family’s attack this time? We have to wait and find out.

Ricardo seeks retribution

Last week, Alberto Del Rio turned on his former friend, as Ricardo’s attempt to help Del Rio backfired and cost him a non–title match. Post-match, ADR destroyed Ricardo, who returned from a Wellness violation, and drop kicked the steel steps with Ricardo’s head behind them. With ADR and Ricardo now officially splitting, what does Ricardo have in store for ADR?

One has to believe that Ricardo will have a major role to play come SummerSlam. How will the former ring announcer of ADR respond to ADR’s recent attack? Things get interesting in the World Heavyweight championship scene as we head on to SummerSlam.

Randy Orton’s quest for championship gold

Last week, Orton came close to cashing in his Money in the Bank briefcase, after RKO – ing an unsuspecting John Cena. While Orton was carefully making his way into the ring to cash in his briefcase, The Shield returned to spoil Orton’s plans, who left his partners in the ring and headed to the back.

With Orton making his intentions clear of going out only for himself, how will this affect the WWE title picture? Will Cena and Bryan have something in store for the Apex Predator? Or will Orton find yet another chance to try and cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase? One has to wonder if Cena will even make it to SummerSlam as the WWE champion!

Triple H tries to save the “sinking ship”

With Vince McMahon running around throwing tantrums, Triple H finally snapped last week, saying Vince had lost his mind. Triple H then told Stephanie that he would try and stop Vince from “sinking the ship”, while also saving Daniel Bryan’s career. With the Triple H – Vince McMahon saga escalating to greater heights, how will this affect the WWE title match at SummerSlam? Does Triple H have something in store for Vince tonight? One has to wonder what transpires when the two men in power collide to get their way in the company.

Daniel Bryan faces the chairman’s fury

Last week, Daniel Bryan made a mockery out of the “corporate make -over” effort of Stephanie and Vince McMahon. Bryan refused to shave his beard, as an irate Vince McMahon stood in the ring, blowing a gasket. How will Vince respond to this debacle? Will Daniel Bryan get screwed out of the WWE championship match at SummerSlam? Will he even make it to the PPV? Tonight’s RAW is sure to be an exciting episode!

CM Punk faces his former best friend

After Lesnar destroyed Punk yet again last week, Paul Heyman challenged his former best friend to a one – on – one match on this week’s episode. Common sense dictates that this is a set up by the evil mastermind, to unleash his beast on CM Punk once again. How will CM Punk respond tonight? Will he fight off the beast or fall victim to the brawns of Brock Lesnar once again? This week’s episode of RAW has all the elements to make it a memorable show, leading the way to SummerSlam!
