WWE RAW Preview: December 17th, 2018
TLC: Tables, Ladders, and Chairs is now in the books and what a Pay-Per-View it was! Admittedly, RAW hasn't really been the best of late. The direction they were heading in just wasn't good.
But that just goes to prove the power of one good show. Suddenly, everyone is excited for RAW again and everyone is excited about what's next for their favourite WWE Superstars. One thing is for sure, the direction is going to take a drastic turn by the end of the year.
This episode is going to be far more exciting than next week, which will mostly just be a generic Christmas special where not much happens. But this week, we're in for a big shake-up!
Baron Corbin is no longer the General Manager-elect. He's been removed from his authoritarian position, and that's likely to be the driving arc this RAW. Things are getting heated and exciting. Here's what you need to look forward to this coming episode on the red brand tonight.
The fallout of Baron Corbin's fall from power
Baron Corbin has lost all his power. On TLC last night, Corbin found himself confronted by Strowman, still with his arm in a cast. He was clearly not medically cleared to compete, but he found an alternate route.
He got 5 other superstars (one of them being referee Heath Slater) who have suffered under Corbin's reign of tyranny, to assault Corbin. Kurt Angle also returned and attacked Corbin, leaving Strowman to get the easy pin.
Now that Corbin is out of power, the assumption would be that Kurt Angle might return, however, the commentators were quick to mention that RAW has no general manager. This could mean that Alexa Bliss, who was handling the women's division will soon be named RAW General Manager, and it could be as soon as tonight!
