WWE: RAW Preview for 1st July
Last week on RAW, CM Punk’s questions were answered when Heyman told Punk he had nothing to do with Lesnar’s attack. Punk believed Heyman, and made peace with his ‘best friend’. When the Prime Time Players attacked Punk after his match, Heyman’s newest client, the Intercontinental champion Curtis Axel made the save, but Punk was far from impressed. Also, last week’s RAW ended with Daniel Bryan finally defeating Randy Orton, and Orton shook Bryan’s hand to finally prove that Bryan is not the weak link. Before this week’s RAW rolls out, here is the RAW preview.
Mark Henry and John Cena on a collision course
Couple of weeks ago, Mark Henry fooled the world and the WWE champion John Cena into thinking that he was retiring from professional wrestling. As a visibly upset Henry delivered what seemed to be his final promo in the WWE, Mark Henry dropped John Cena with a WSS, telling Cena he still has a lot left in the tank.
Last week, both Cena and Henry delivered promos saying they were ready for their now confirmed match at the Money in the Bank PPV. With only two weeks to go for the PPV, what will Henry do this week to send yet another message to the WWE champion? Will Cena return the favor to Henry for what he did two weeks ago? It will be interesting to see what transpires between the two superstars this week.
Dolph Ziggler sends his message across to Del Rio
Last week on Smackdown, Dolph Ziggler crashed Alberto Del Rio’s “Championship Fiesta” and delivered a guitar shot to Ricardo. With Ziggler hell bent on reclaiming what he feels to be rightfully his, what will Alberto Del Rio do this week?
ADR has been involved in a couple of good segments ever since he won the World Heavyweight title, and with his rivalry seeming to be over with Chris Jericho, how will ADR respond to Ziggler’s attack? We will soon find out.
