WWE: RAW Preview for 21st October

The Rhodes brothers win the WWE Tag titles!

Last week’s main event saw the Rhodes brothers win the WWE Tag Team championships from The Shield, thanks to interference by an angry giant, The Big Show. Triple H then came out and stared down the former WWE employee, as Show made his way back through the crowd. With a few disgruntled employees and one giant who has nothing to lose, things are bound to get interesting as RAW rolls out of the FedEx Forum in Memphis, Tennessee. With just six more days remaining for the Hell In A Cell PPV, this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW promises to be a slobberknocker of a “Go home” show. So what can we expect from tonight’s edition of RAW? Let’s find out!

An angry giant who has nothing to lose

Imagine having a 7 foot monster on your tail. Worse, imagine a 7 foot monster that has nothing to lose chasing you! That is what the COO of WWE, Triple H has to deal with. After Stephanie McMahon unceremoniously fired the giant from the WWE, The Big Show has made every possible effort to make the lives of the power couple a living hell. Last week, Triple H came up with a plan to make sure that The Shield took out the newly employed Rhodes brothers. But as things turned out, The Big Show played spoiled sport and ruined the COO’s idea, which resulted in the Rhodes brothers winning the WWE Tag Team championships! This not only halted the momentum of the hounds of justice, but has given yet another reason for Triple H to hate the angry giant. What will Triple H have in store for someone who isn’t an employee of the WWE? We’ll find out tonight!

CM Punk finally one ups Heyman

They say you cannot outfox a fox. But sometimes, there comes along a more conniving individual who manages to do just that, and last week, it was CM Punk’s turn to outsmart the devious Paul Heyman. Heyman planned to make it a 2 on 1 handicap match at the HIAC PPV as the stipulation for Punk’s match, and as it turned out, he got his wish. The only difference is, it won’t be the Paul Heyman guys taking on CM Punk. Instead, it will be Ryback and Heyman himself taking on the Second City Saint! Heyman was understandably upset, and will try to take out the Straight Edge messiah on this week’s show, so that he won’t even make it to this Sunday. Will he succeed in his plans? Or will CM Punk outsmart him once again? We’ll get our answers in a few hours.

Randy Orton’s “Hall of fame” sized woe

Randy Orton’s biggest problem isn’t just Daniel Bryan anymore. Last week, Orton confronted Shawn Michaels and trash talked the legendary performer. As things heated up, Orton went for an RKO which was dodged by Shawn Michaels, who then went for a Sweet Chin Music which Orton managed to avoid. With Shawn Michaels being the special guest referee this Sunday at the Hell In A Cell PPV, it wasn’t exactly wise on Orton’s part to infuriate the Heart Break Kid! How will Shawn Michaels respond to Orton’s actions? Will Randy Orton try and attack Shawn Michaels this week as well? The main event scene in the WWE reaches its boiling point, and it’ll be interesting to see what transpires just days before the PPV!

The Rhodes brothers get their retribution

Last week, Goldust and Cody Rhodes were put in a helpless predicament against The Shield. The Rhodes brothers weren’t supposed to walk out of the match, let alone beat the trio and win the tag titles, but thanks to an angry, unemployed giant, Goldust and Cody Rhodes achieved something that they would’ve dreamt about as kids – Being the tag team champions in the WWE! The Rhodes brothers achieved what only few brothers managed to achieve in the past, and that is to win the tag team gold in the biggest promotion in the world! What will Triple H have in store for the brothers this week? We’ll get to that in a few hours, but for now, we can sit back and enjoy the rise of the Rhodes Dynasty in the WWE!

Alberto Del Rio looks for a helping hand

In six more days, Alberto Del Rio will defend the World Heavyweight championship against someone who was expected to be on the shelf for at least a couple more months. Come Sunday, the Mexican warrior has no other choice but to put his title on the line against the leader of CeNation, John Cena! Del Rio has been doing everything possible to suck – up to the higher ups, and with Vickie Guerrero shrugging him off, he will try to serenade the power couple to cancel the match at the Hell In A Cell PPV! Although that might not happen, we can expect something interesting to unfold on tonight’s episode, and if Del Rio’s stars shine bright, Triple H may give him a leeway. We can only wait and see what happens tonight, as Monday Night RAW promises to be an exciting show!
