WWE: RAW Preview for 2nd September

As we gear up for yet another exciting PPV in the works, the road to Night of Champions continues, as RAW rolls out of the Wells Fargo Center in Des Moines, Iowa. We’re just a couple of weeks away from the Night of Champions PPV, and the main event has already been decided, with Daniel Bryan challenging Randy Orton for the WWE championship. Also, “Mr. Monday Night” Rob Van Dam will challenge Alberto Del Rio for the World Heavyweight championship, but we have to go through this week’s RAW to get to the PPV. So, what can we expect from this week’s show? Let’s find out.

Ricardo’s role in the World title match

At the Night of Champions, Alberto Del Rio will put his World Heavyweight championship on the line against Mr. Monday Night, Rob Van Dam. Although RVD has beaten Del Rio a couple of times before, he now has the upper hand with Del Rio’s former manager and friend, Ricardo joining forces with him. One has to believe that Ricardo’s presence in RVD’s corner can prove to be decisive, but before we get to the PPV, Ricardo and RVD would look to send a message to Alberto Del Rio. What will happen this week? Will ADR take matters into his own hands and make sure Ricardo stayd out the picture? We can only wait and find out.

The divas react to AJ Lee’s promo

Last week, AJ Lee cut a scathing promo against the entire crew of Total Divas, ripping into each and every one of them. One has to believe that she will now face the ire and wrath of all the divas. After her promo last week, how will she react to the divas taking shots at her all through the week on social media? Will AJ have anything else to say about her peers in the locker room? Or will the likes of Natalya take matters into their own hands and teach AJ a thing or two about respect? With rumours of AJ vs Brie Bella flying around for the Night of Champions PPV, something has got to give on tonight’s episode of Monday Night RAW.

Will the giant finally snap?

Last week, Big Show was made to stand and watch The Shield and Randy Orton take out Daniel Bryan on RAW, and on Smackdown!, the giant was once against forced to watch Orton and the Corporate cronies beat down the bearded warrior. How will the giant respond to the recent string of attacks on Bryan while he was made to watch helplessly? Will the Big Show finally snap and lend a helping hand to Daniel Bryan? Or will he be forced to watch yet another beat down of Daniel Bryan at the hands of the new Corporation? There are a lot of questions which will be answered on tonight’s episode.

CM Punk looks for retribution

Last week, CM Punk was annihilated by Paul Heyman and Curtis Axel. After Punk was handcuffed, Paul Heyman destroyed CM Punk with a kendo stick, and with tears in his eyes, said that CM Punk earned what he had received at the hands of Paul Heyman. With the two on one handicap match set for the Night of Champions PPV, what will Paul Heyman have in store for the Second City Saint this week? CM Punk would also look to get his hands on his former best friend before the NoC PPV, and can do so on this week’s episode. Will Punk get his revenge on Axel and Heyman for last week’s attack? Or will Heyman outsmart Punk once again? We will find out the answers in a few hours.

Daniel Bryan looks to fight the odds

The biggest story of the summer has taken a new twist, with Daniel Bryan chasing Randy Orton to get his hands on the WWE championship once again. With Triple H turning his back on the fans and Daniel Bryan, the new Corporation has vowed to keep Daniel Bryan away from the WWE title, and make his life miserable in the WWE. After being attacked on last week’s episode, how will Daniel Bryan react this week? With the rest of the locker room reluctant to step up against the powers that be and help Bryan, who will Bryan turn to? Will the former WWE champion be successful in challenging the entire corporation? Or will Orton and Triple H have the last laugh once again on this week’s show? We will find out tonight, as RAW promises to deliver all the goods once again after a great show last week.
