WWE: RAW Preview for June 10th
The last RAW before WWE Payback comes to us live from Richmond Coliseum in Richmond, Virginia. The go-home show for Payback seems exciting, as it includes some major returns and also promises a surprise that the WWE Universe has been waiting for, sort of.
This RAW will be the last chance for John Cena to get even with his opponent for Payback, Ryback. In the past few weeks, Ryback has gained the upper hand over the WWE champion, by attacking him and putting him through tables. At Payback, these two will be involved in a Three Stages of Hell match, which will see the first match being a Lumberjack match, the second being a Tables match, and the third and final match being an Ambulance match. With Ryback sending a strong message to the WWE champion in recent weeks, how will Cena react? Will Ryback once again have the last laugh before we go to the Pay Per View this Sunday? We will find out soon.
Last week on Smackdown!, Randy Orton created buzz when he RKO’d his tag team partner for the night, Daniel Bryan. Daniel Bryan has been obsessed with proving himself not to be a weak link, and in the process has managed to get on the nerves of Kane and Randy Orton. During their match with The Shield, Bryan accidentally drop kicked Orton, and after their match, Orton returned the favor by giving Bryan an RKO. Where will this lead to? Has Orton finally turned heel? Or did the Viper just snap for a second? How will Daniel Bryan respond? Things can get pretty interesting from here.
The big announcement coming out of last week was Ziggler being cleared to perform after the concussion he suffered. On Smackdown!, Ziggler told Alberto Del Rio that he will be present on RAW this week. With Ziggler finally coming back on RAW, how will the ‘Show off’ respond to the number 1 contender for his title? Ziggler will take on Alberto Del Rio for the World Heavyweight championship at WWE Payback, and hence, the champion would look to send the challenger a message this week. I for one am excited to see Ziggler coming back after the unfortunate incident.
The other major news for this week’s RAW is the unraveling of the ‘Secret Admirer’ of Kaitlyn. For the past few weeks, Kaitlyn has been receiving strange messages and gifts from her secret admirer. Word has it that it was supposed to be Mark Henry, coming back in his former avatar, but now that Henry is out indefinitely, WWE has someone else in their mind who would be revealed as Kaitlyn’s secret admirer. Who can it be? We will have to wait and find out on RAW.
Chris Jericho and Paul Heyman signed on the dotted lines to finalize the match between Y2J and the returning CM Punk at Payback. With just a week remaining for the much anticipated bout, both Jericho and Heyman would want to deliver one final blow to each other, to gain the psychological advantage. What can Heyman do to get his retribution for what Jericho did last week? Does he have something up his sleeve? Can Jericho get on Heyman’s nerves once more to drive him over the edge? All these questions will be answered on RAW.
The final major update for RAW is the COO of WWE, Triple H making an announcement that he would take on Curtis Axel this week. With the McMahons making it clear to the WWE Universe last week that Triple H won’t be performing on RAW ever again, will Triple H defy direct orders from his wife and his father-in-law? The last time Triple H stepped into the ring against Axel, he ended up suffering the after effects of a concussion he received from Brock Lesnar. What will happen when he challenges Curtis for the second time? We will find out, tonight on RAW!
