WWE Monday night Raw preview for November 11, 2013

The football crazy city of Manchester is all set to taste some professional wrestling magic as WWE will tape tonight’s Raw from the Phones 4u Arena. With the Survivor Series in the horizon, the creative team will be looking to continue their unfolding work of the storylines in order to make sure that the historic pay-per-view doesn’t flop like the recent ones. And they will be entitled with the responsibility of moving the car forward as last week’s show concluded with a string of questions. So here’s a look at what all things the show might address as it gears for one of the “big four” pay-per-views.

5. The smaller picture: The Undertaker returns…not literally but he’s in the show for that matter

Game or real, he never bores you

The midcard will have a lot of entertainment in store as it boasts the simulation of Undertaker vs. his greatest WrestleMania opponent in WWE 2K14. The return of Tyson Kidd and his future might also be pulled out of the darkness after he picked up a win over Fandango and Summer Rae with real life wife Natalya by his side. The show will not hesitate to throw in a hyped match for Wade Barrett or even William Regal as they will be celebrating a homecoming.  Big E Langston’s babyface push seems to be continuing while Curtis Axel will be looking to find a destination after Paul Heyman’s absence.  Another prospect to look forward in the midcard will be the tag team titles as the Real Americans show no desire to give up on the Rhodes brothers.

4. The quest to popularize the World Heavyweight Championship

The twist in the tale

Alberto Del Rio has a guaranteed rematch against John Cena in Survivor Series for the title, but what adds spice to the storyline is the inclusion of Damien Sandow. Sandow lost his Money in the Bank contract miserably but has promised to pursue Cena for another shot and he is unlikely to wait till the end of the pay-per-view. Some rumors even suggest a triple threat between the three in this week’s show which would be more than welcomed by the fans. Cena’s quest to make the title popular again seems to be on the right track and will get another boost in Manchester.

3. Kane in suit? You had my curiosity, now you have my attention.

A Big Red Machine added to the office

For starters, Kane used to be a masked monster that destroyed anything that came into his path and last week’s show portrayed him as office guy who was tagged as the Devil’s favorite director. Though we might not see the Big Red (or suit) Machine in the ring soon as he was just handing out the chairs to Shield, Kane will have a good role in the authority angle which has been gaining the attention for all the right reasons. The Corporate Kane rides high on expectations and might not disappoint as well with his devious new incarnation.

2. The Giant’s revenge

Be scared..be very scared

Though Big Show managed to get his job and a title shot last week, the giant still ended up crashing through the table as the show concluded. The authority angle was taken to a whole new level with the inclusion of Kane and Show’s return to the roster. He is at the mercy of Triple H at the moment as the COO could still notch up some more handicap matches to tire out the big guy. With the Survivor Series approaching Show will not be looking to serve revenge cold and will be taking the any chance possible to knock out the Shield. The evolution of the storyline further hints at the Stone Cold- Vince McMahon feud replication which rocked the wrestling world in the Attitude Era. But the sad part that needs to be sorted out will be Randy Orton’s involvement as he has been pushed into a supporting role which is an utter waste of talent.

 1. Indie darlings to make the alliance official?

Shall we make it official then?

Bray Wyatt is arguably the best gimmick that the WWE has produced in recent years and putting him in a feud with CM Punk and Daniel Bryan is going to be a ticket seller for the company. The story is definitely building up to a traditional survivor series match which leaves us with the question of who all will complete each teams. Wyatt and his twisted family has been impressive both off and in the ring, but the direction of the feud could still go anyways with the only sure part being that Bray Wyatt will be pushed no matter what. All things kept aside this week’s Raw promises to shed light on the CM Punk-Daniel Bryan alliance and the motivation behind the Wyatt family.
