Roman Reigns vs Bray Wyatt

Ent
Reigns & Wyatt renewed their old rivalry

Bray Wyatt started the show in a backstage segment, reminiscing about his Elimination Chamber victory the previous year. He talked about his rivalry with Reigns, calling The Big Dog a failure waiting patiently to be put out of his misery.

Roman cut a promo saying that no one can stop him from becoming Universal Champion at WrestleMania. It looked like he was reading out of a teleprompter. But noticeably, these backstage focus promos have increased in WWE.

Reigns started the match strong but it was Bray Wyatt with the mind games, helping him get the better of his old rival. Matt Hardy was watching on from the weird WWE TV angle while Roman Reigns levelled The Eater Of Worlds.

Roman hit a series of lariat strikes on Wyatt at the corner but Bray powered him out and levelled him clean with a body collision. A good match upto that point with both men digging deep into their arsenal, as Roman would respond with a sit-out powerbomb.

Roman's superman punch was countered into a urinage, and the crowd was hot for Wyatt. Corey Graves compared the Reigns-Wyatt rivalry to Superman-Lex Luther/Batman-Joker. Reigns.

Bray Wyatt hit the Sister Abigail but Roman Reigns would become the first person to kick out of the Sister Abigail since Hell In A Cell 2015. Roman was incidentally the last one to do it.

Roman Reigns outpowered Bray, preventing a second Sister Abigail. He would then hit a spear for the win, becoming the fourth person to qualify for the Elimination Chamber match.
