WWE RAW: Why the main event worked on so many counts

It is always quite strange to have so many talented superstars from the roster stand as mere spectators to the Authority’s ceremonies, tirades and whatever else they have to showcase from their drama kit. It was entertaining to look at Punk when Stephanie started talking about her husband Triple H. His laugh was just apt. And when Cena went on a self cheerleading mode with shades of a shoot promo, it was apt to see the superstars whom he mentioned not even bat an eye lid. No matter how much of it was just boastful or repetitive as any other Cena promo, but this guy knows how to publicize an event. And even though WWE truly overrates this rivalry of Cena and Orton, this main event made things even more exciting for the future.

For example, the interaction between Punk, Triple H, Shawn Michaels and Daniel Bryan was very interesting. Could this lead to a Cena-Bryan versus a Corporate DX? The chaos in the end was very well done, and the only strange thing was that Cena stood with the Authority. WWE never really acknowledges the confusion in their more or less ridiculous storylines, but this segment was all about chaos and confusion and it will be interesting to see where things go from here as January is about come and that triggers the beginning of Wrestlemania season.

The last segment proved many a things- the Authority is here to stay, and Daniel Bryan is here to stay. There isn’t anyone as over as Daniel Bryan right now. If the crowd keeps at it, he can very well come back to the title picture and unlike other browbeaten Underdog stories that the WWE has pulled off, his story is something that can get people interested.

He has become one of the most endearing characters on WWE and for all of this he deserves to get back to the title picture and win it to keep it for the long haul.
