WWE RAW witnessing a downfall?, Triple H accepts challenge and more
- The latest PPV spectacle from the WWE, Night Of Champions drew mixed reviews from the fans, but overall it was quite a good event. The fallout Monday Night RAW episode for NOC was also an entertaining one, but it did not rake in the ratings as expected.
The fallout episode drew 3.349 million viewers, down from last week's viewership of 3.397 million viewers. WWE has been in the midst of a freefall when it comes to the rating aspect and it is noted that the fallout episode drew the lowest non-holiday viewership since RAW went to three hours back in July 2012.
The hourly breakdown of viewership from the show indicated a steady decline. The first hour drew 3.420 million viewers, the second 3.368 and the third hour raked in 3.260 million viewers. As usual RAW was #2 for the total viewership of the night behind NFL’s Monday Night Football, which got in 12.479 million viewers. In the 18-49 demographics, RAW was even lower to the #4 spot behind NFL, SportsCente and Love & Hip-Hop. The WWE has to rethink their strategy when it comes to the content of RAW and the duration.
- As noted earlier, the WWE’s resident giant The Big Show is the latest star to dance for the Pediatric Cancer Awareness. He challenged Triple H to dance next, who sort of dropped a hint on his acceptance. He reposted a video on his twitter handle from last week’s RAW, on which he was seen shaking a leg with The New Day and his wife Stephanie. He even issued a challenge to the guy who screwed John Cena over, Jon Stewart to dance next for the noble cause.
- The people responsible for making the WWE star’s look a like a million bucks, the WWE make-up crew are now officially on Instagram at @wwemakeupdivas. This post was posted from the newly made handle with Tom Phillips:
