Reports: Brock Lesnar's return programme and possible opponent for Wrestlemania 31
When Triple H mentioned a ‘Plan B’ for John Cena on last Monday Night Raw, it became all the more apparent that Brock Lesnar was indeed returning to challenge for the WWE World Heavyweight titles.
And according to recent reports, SummerSlam will be the winning platform for The Beast Incarnated where he will defeat Cena and become the next champion.
While the talks of him expectedly winning the titles have been circulating around, fresh talks about Brock defending his belts against Roman Reigns at Wrestlemania 31 have originated. The black vested superstar who has been getting a major push since the splitting up of The Shield, has been viewed by the WWE as a worthy candidate to wrestle Lesnar at the grandest event of the year.
However, the actual working schedule of Brock after he returns hasn’t been revealed yet. Besides SummerSlam, Night of Champions and his imminent return at the Battleground PPV, it remains questionable as to how much the WWE universe will get to see him in the ring.
Defending against Reigns at Wrestlemania also means that Lesnar will be booked to work at Royal Rumble and WM31. But remaining as champ for several months would call for more activeness in the ring and Lesnar can be expected to work on more dates rather than just the pay-per-views.
