Revealed: How much money Shane McMahon will earn from WrestleMania
Shane McMahon is pulling out all the stops for his highly anticipated WWE return at WrestleMania 32 next month, and is set to pull in a pretty penny for his efforts if WWE’s recent financial data release is anything to go by.
According to the financial data released by the franchise, Shane has not signed any contract with WWE as a performer, and does not have an executive role lined up with his father’s company just yet.
The younger McMahon is set to pull in an excess of $120,000 for his role as a performer leading to WrestleMania 32. Further incentives could be a part of the deal.
Shane’s surprise return to WWE – with whom he last worked with in 2010 – was announced during an episode of RAW, where he interrupted his father while he was handing out the Vincent J McMahon Legacy of Excellence Award to his sister Stephanie.
Shane announced his intention of taking over the company, which his father agreed to hand him provided he defeated The Undertaker in a Hell In a Cell match at WrestleMania. Shane’s return was kept under wraps by WWE, with very few employees in company possessing knowledge of the development, which has caused immense hype amongst the fans.
