WWE News: Rey Mysterio comments on injury and it doesn't sound good

As Sportskeeda Wrestling reported earlier, Rey Mysterio picked up an ankle injury on WWE RAW earlier this week during his main-event match against Baron Corbin. Mysterio lost the match on RAW but his ankle injury will be a bigger concern for him this close to WrestleMania 35. Mysterio took to social media earlier today to give fans an update on his condition.

Rey Mysterio made a surprise return to WWE at the 2018 men's Royal Rumble before returning full-time in October 2018. Mysterio joined SmackDown Live and returned on the 1000th episode of SmackDown, his first appearance on the blue brand in 4 years.

Mysterio is in the best shape of his life right now and has left some of his more serious injury issues behind him. Mysterio is set to challenge WWE United States Champion Samoa Joe at WrestleMania 35.

Rey Mysterio faced Baron Corbin in the main event of RAW earlier this week. Corbin pinned Mysterio after hitting the WWE legend with a Deep Six but that wasn't the biggest talking point from the match. Mysterio picked up an ankle injury that has now put his match against Samoa Joe at WrestleMania in jeopardy.
Mysterio took to Instagram earlier today to give fans an update and it doesn't sound very reassuring. Mysterio said that he praying to be ready for his march on Sunday and shared a clip of the moment he picked up his injury:
